You Are What You Eat

Off and on throughout my life, I’ve paid more attention to what I eat. I can go really well for while and then something will happen and I will react emotionally by eating poorly, for months. it always starts with a first bite where I tell myself I have earned something. One bite won’t hurt, then one serving of cake turns into a pie and before I know it, I am back where I started.

About a month ago, I started something new, intermittent fasting. It has been working well for me. I don’t feel hungry, and as long as I stay in my eating window I can eat what I want.

It feels good to take care of myself. I’ve also been working out more consistently and generally just found myself in a better mood.

Take care of your body, it’s the only one you have.
