As I’ve gotten older I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about my purpose in life. When I was younger I always felt that I was intended for great things. As I aged I wondered if I was squandering that intention. Maybe though, my great things are small things that I do to bring a smile to someone’s face when they are in the middle of something rough. Maybe it’s holding the door open for an overwhelmed mother when she is just trying to get her groceries and kids back to the car. Maybe there is greatness in all of us just be being kind to one another.
If so, that means there is greatness in all of us.
